Recycle

re-use & re-purpose your candles!

We love the earth as much as we love candles! Our goal is to leave the smallest carbon footprint as we can - and we need your help to do it!

Once you've finished with your candle - there are a ton of ways to re-purpose your jars! Here are some creative and innovative ways to give your jars a purposeful life after the wax inside is gone.

how to clean your jar

Cleaning your jars couldn't have been easier. Because we use wooden wicks - your jars shouldn't have much or any carbon build up inside.  Our soy wax is also biodegradable and can be cleaned up with soap and water.

1. Use a butter knife and run it along the edges of the jar.

2. Throw away any wax into your bin and use soap and water to clean the rest of the jar.

3. Any other excess wax can be washed off by just popping it into your dishwasher.

***Do not pour any wax down your sink as this can cause blockage on your drains.

The most simple way to re-use our tumbler jars is to simply keep using it as a drinking cup! Otherwise - we have some other creative ideas to help you re-purpose those jars with some handy links to bloggers who can give you more expertise and detail then we can. You can also recycle glass jars according to your local recycling center instructions.

HERB PROPAGATION

We absolutely LOVE propagating herbs! The best part about this is that it can be done in virtually anything. Did you know there are countless herbs out there that can be propagated? Even after you've eaten them some herbs can be re-grown to give you an endless supply of herbs.
